Progress Luv2Pak at Daily Bread's Food Sort Challenge

After enjoying a prosperous year in 2010, we wanted to give back to the community at large. That is why this holiday season, Progress once again decided to donate to the Daily Bread Food Bank - an organization that helps combat hunger in our region by providing food to thousands of individuals in need.

This year, however, we took our efforts one step further. In addition to our annual monetary donation to Daily Bread, on Friday, November 29th, Progress' sales team participated in Daily Bread Food Bank's Food Sort Challenge!

This event saw Progress pitted against 66 other corporations in a high-pressure scramble to sort through 3000lbs of food in 2 hours and 30 minutes. With solid teamwork and several cups of coffee, we managed to complete the task in just 46minutes! Pretty good for first-timers.

Everyone had a great time and it was for a great cause.

The team is already excited for next year's event. Senior Account Executive Derek Dyke expressed his excitement, "Looking forward to doing this again next year and shooting for that 1st place finish."
